Job Summary

The Ford Store Morgan Hill is currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Dealer Trade Driver to join our team on an on-call, as-needed basis. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys driving and working independently. You will be responsible for transporting vehicles between our dealership and partner dealerships to facilitate inventory trades.

Key Responsibilities

·         Transport vehicles between dealership locations for dealer trades.

·         Inspect vehicles before and after transport to ensure condition and documentation accuracy.

·         Maintain detailed records of vehicle deliveries and trade-related paperwork.

·         Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and presentable for delivery.

·         Communicate with dealership staff to coordinate trade logistics.

·         Follow all safety regulations and dealership policies while operating vehicles.

Qualifications

·         Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

·         Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.

·         Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

·         Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

·         Previous dealership or driving experience is a plus but not required.

·         Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work on short notice.

·         This is an on-call, as-needed position. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on dealership trade needs.

The Dealer Trade Driver has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $20.00.
